To follow along the size chart first thing you have to measure is the circumference of your elbow and knee. Circumference is the circular distance of your elbow or knee as shown in the image below. Our sizing is displayed as per the circumference measured of your Knee & Elbow.
How to measure circumference?
To measure circumference of elbow or knee
1 - Extend the elbow or the knee full straight.
2 - Take the measuring tape and measure the circular circumference as shown in the image for knee/elbow.
3 - Measure the circumference in centimeters and match it with the sizing chart image given below.
4 - Whichever size it matches, thats the size you should go for.
Elbow and Knee circumference fall in different size category, what to do?
Now in some rare case it may happen that the knee circumference and the elbow circumference may fall in two different size category.
Yep, we have got such cases in the past where we observed the above situation. For example say the user has elbow circumference of 23cm, and knee circumference of 35cm. So as per elbow the user should choose the size M but as per the knee diameter which is contradictory and is suggesting to go with size L. What to do in such case?
In such a case give priority for your knee circumference over the elbows, as elbows straps can be adjusted but knee should have more comfortable and free movement while skating so that you can enjoy this sport :)
