Couple of times few skaters who have bought board from us call and ask, 'Why is my truck making squeaky sound, is there any issue with truck??!. Answer for this is 'Nope, not at all'. Sound is coming from the new bushings installed in your truck. This sound is produced as the bushings are new and have not broken in yet. Due to the friction the sound is produced.
Breaking in bushings basically means reducing the friction of the bushings with the trucks. To break in the bushing simple trick is to just keep skating around. The more you cruise and carve around the bushing will start breaking in and the sound will go on diminishing. Keep on skating and stop worrying about the sound, it'll go on its own once the friction is reduced. You can may be apply some wax around the bushing to ease out the friction if needed.
Below is one video sent by one of our customer showing how squeaky trucks sound.
