GOA SURF FESTIVAL 2023

This was the first edition of Goa Surf Festival which was organized by Goa Surf Association hosted in Morjim,Goa. Wow! what an event it was. Our full Piso team was there at the event along with our Skataelifegoa homies. Skateable spaces had set up their skate arena which added a nice element and the old school skate vibe to the whole event.

So it was a 3 day event. It had various kinds of workshops, stalls, communal activities etc. Its not exactly a hardcore contest but more of a lively vibe of peeps celebrating surf and skate culture together. Skaters and surfers from various parts of the world flew down to witness and experience this gathering.

Unfortunately due to rains most of the contest got delayed. But the organizing team held strong and pulled off this event in style. The team work, the hospitality, arrangements and of course the vibe was amazing. As per the updates it is going to be an yearly event. If you happen to be in Goa somewhere around in Oct 2024, you can keep an eye on this event. You can follow surf.goa.festival on instagram to stay updated on their schedule.

SLG Open is a mix of culture, spot contests, communal gatherings, positive vibes etc etc In short it's one of a kind event which you don't want to miss out on :). It will be an annual event which will happen every year during the summer's in Goa hosted by the Skatelifegoa crew.

Jugaad Skateboarding Competition 2022

Another year of Jugaad contest happened in the month of Dec in 2022. There were skaters from various countries and cities from India. Unfortunately this year it rained on the 2nd day due to which we could not film the event. Even in the rains the team did not give up and made sure the event happened :D. Full crew along with the skaters tried to make a shed in very short span to conduct the event.
